We had a wonderful meal at this small but cozy restaurant. The food was excellent - bold and full flavours. We love a sharing concept and had 10 plates in total for our group of four. The plates came out at a steady pace, we never felt rushed. Small but good wine selection. The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. We went to other, more expensive restaurants in Glasgow but this was by far our favorite. We spent 245 pounds which included 3 bottles of wine - a very fair price. Absolutely recommend this spot, we will definitely visit again next time we're in the area.

We went for a late dinner and all of the dishes were incredible! We shared 4 plates among the two of us and it was plenty. The beefsteak tomatoes were incredible, both pasta dishes were cooked perfectly and we finished with the pork chop which had peaches and baby gem lettuce with it which was a nice touch. Wish we could’ve tried the sourdough but it was sadly sold out before we got there! Must’ve meant it was good! The spicy margarita was veeeery spicy, but the French mocktail was sweet and delicious!! Everything was plated so beautifully as well. Definitely a high class experience.

Excellent late dinner. Tasty dishes and great service! Loved the organic and biodynamic wines. Can’t wait to return for some more deliciousness

Food here is always great. Sourdough bread never a bad choice. Enjoyed our most recent visit with a very good itison deal they're running just now. Some really fun pasta choices on offer.

Absolutely stunning selection of European cuisine with fresh pasta dishes. Service was really polite and kind. I recommend everyone give the goat's cheese custard starter a try. The coley was superb, and the cavatelli pasta had the perfect mouthfeel. All dishes were wonderful. We were recommended 2-3 plates per person, ended up spending roughly 30GBP per person with two large bottles of sparkling water and 8 dishes total. Definitely filling, and definitely worth sharing every plate around! The atmosphere was nearly perfect, but the music choice was surprisingly laid-back compared to how upmarket the meal presentation is.

Amazing Monday tasting menu, 8 courses to share for 25 pp. The goats cheese custard with basil and focaccia was incredible. Good portions and alternative options if needed. The Chocolate cremeux with smoked almonds was fabulous. Nice staff and comfortable seating. Just the lights are a bit too harsh in the back.

I have had the privilege to eat at Eighty Eight twice now on my travels to Glasgow. I thought I'd imagined how good it was the first time, and it was even better the second time. Stand out dishes for me were the brown shrimp and nduja pasta which they did for me GF, the celeriac with salted labneh, house chilli crisp, and peanut and the cod with cacio e pepe beans of and leek. I wiped the plates clean. The spicy margaritas are insane. Cannot wait to return to Glasgow and this restaurant.

Eighty Eight in Glasgow certainly lived up to the hype! The atmosphere was lively and buzzing. The food was, in a word, great. Each dish was bursting with flavour and beautifully presented. However, we learned a valuable lesson: 5 portions per person is way too much! While everything was delicious, we ended up feeling overly full and couldn't fully appreciate the final dishes, including the mouthwatering steak. Next time, we'll definitely be more strategic with our ordering. Despite the minor over-ordering mishap, we had a fantastic evening at Eighty Eight :)
